Doug and Dave Vass officially announced today on their blog that they have resigned from Zrii. The news is prompting strong feelings and a wide variety of thoughts across the Zrii nation.

For me, I feel a sense of validation. I have watched Dave Vass's story book video series in which he tells of the reasons why he and Doug Vass made the decision to leave what appeared to be a very lucrative position in Zrii. Almost one year ago, I made that same decision. It turns out after watching the Dave's video storybook, that we left for similar reasons.

It is hard to continue building a network marketing organization within a company that does not mirror ones values and principles. I feel for Doug and Dave. They have poured their hearts and energy and finances into Zrii for two and a half years. That is a lot to walk away from. At the same time, I commend them for deciding to stand within their deepest feelings and principles.

When I made my decision just about a year ago, it was with a heavy heart...and also a sense of relief. Yet when I opened my heart and mind to other possibilities, amazing things began to happen. I was so blessed to receive the invitation of my life.....endings are usually just beginnings in disguise.

Why I No Longer Work My Zrii Business

Don't get me wrong..Zrii is a wonderful product. I drink it every day and have been doing so since October 2007. In that time I have not been sick once. With that in mind, I can only imagine the powerful immune system effect that is going on in my body, on a deeper level. Hopefully the ayurvedic ingredients in Zrii are preventing serious diseases that take years to become evident.

Given that testimonial, many may ask why I no longer work my Zrii business. The answer is, that Zrii as a business was not a good way for the average person to make money. Creating a long term residual income and helping others to do the same is the reason that I am a network marketing professional. Though I personally was making money with Zrii, my down line could not duplicate my efforts even with a lot of training and support. Zrii as a product is a hard sell. The effects are not noticeable for most people in the here and now. You know how hard it is in our western minded society to convince people to do things and pay for things that are preventative, without seeing/feeling differences for themselves. Some people "feel" Zrii, but many do not.

Zrii as a business had a very, very high attrition rate, thus making it hard for the average distributor (Zrii IE) to create ongoing residual income. Zrii as a company has shown that they know this, by recently adding a weight loss product to their line. Weight loss is an easier sell than wellness and prevention. This is a smart decision on their part, yet departs from their original one product mission and ideal.

My goal as a network marketing professional as well as a home business coach and trainer is to make sure that I reach my financial and lifestyle goals and that those who work with me, do so as well. That is why it became increasingly untenable for me to continue building a down line with Zrii. My level of integrity and honesty would not allow it.

I do continue to sell Zrii as a product and to drink it myself. As for making money. I have chosen to work with a company that I know has a simple, yet unique product line and the financial success of it's distributors at the heart of it's mission and philosophy.

Why You Need a Residual Focus Company

Zrii is a great product. I've been drinking it almost every day for 18 months and have not even suffered a mild cold. Imagine what it is doing on a deeper immune boosting level. That is why I continue to sell Zrii in a direct sales manner to others who also appreciate the health benefits.

Unfortunately, the Zrii network marketing business is another story. The design of the the original compensation plan ended up creating a problem for all but the very top IE's in the company. There was a great fast start bonus program and then a great big "hole". True residual income did not kick in for so long, that by the time it became to trickle in, many had dropped out. The company has experienced a very high attrition rate, partly because of this. The new compensation plan appears to be a binary type plan. These are wonderful for the company but pretty low on the comp plan totem pole, for distributors.

To be successful in network marketing, beyond one's own drive, desire and determination, you need a company that has a Residual Focus mentality. This means that the compensation plan needs to be designed to reward people quickly, evenly and fairly and do it with ongoing residual income. The product line needs to be simple and something that people naturally use everyday. Unfortunately Zrii is not that kind of product. It is a luxury for many and something that gets dropped in a difficult economy. Think instead of products that are habits or life necessities: coffee, tea, cleaning products, water -- even alcohol and cigarettes, though to me those are morally inappropriate to market.

If you are struggling in your Zrii business, even if you still love the Zrii product, now may be the time to take a look around and find that Residual Focus Company that will allow your efforts to truly pay off.

Zrii--Now Better Than Good

It appears that Zrii is back from the brink and better than ever. The Rising Star Academy this past weekend was attended by 1400 people. The sales in the month of February were higher than January, even with all the upheaval. It is obvious that Bill Farley falls in the category of "When the going gets tough, the tough get going"!

Big news on the product front is that there are new scientific studies specifically done on Zrii that have recently been completed and posted. You can find them at ZriiProduct.com. Make sure to look under "news and articles" and also look at the "most frequent questions" under the product FAQ's.

Drinking Zrii for almost 18 months has been amazing. I'm working harder than ever in my businesses and I'm still the only one I know who has not been sick this winter. I attribute it to Zrii. Dear Zrii Independent Executives,

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for making our Recent Rising Star Academy such an incredible success! In the face of recent events, many questioned whether we should push the event back a month or even cancel it altogether? After receiving so many calls and emails of support from the field, I decided to move ahead with the event, as planned. With an attendance of over 1400 IE’s, and a tremendous group of presenters, I am pleased to say the event was a resounding success!

The past two weeks have been some of the toughest days I’ve experienced in my business career. We’ve had some difficult hurdles to overcome, many of which could cripple a young company. Despite this fact, I am proud to report that we never lost a step in taking orders, shipping orders, or paying commission checks. Our sales volume for the month of February is higher than January. Wow! I thank both the field and our corporate team for this achievement.

As you know, I have now settled into my new office in Salt Lake City and will be much more involved in the day-to-day management of Zrii. We continue to hire excellent leaders to fill any remaining positions at our corporate offices. We look forward to some exciting announcements in the coming weeks.

Zrii Bill Farley, Reinstates Top IE's

Below is letter sent to Mr. Bill Farley, owner and CEO of Zrii from Drs. Robert Gonzalez and Andreas Boettcher. It is a wonderful thing when men can see that they've made a mistake and humbly ask for forgiveness and also worth paying attention when a man who was attacked, accepts that forgiveness. Thus is what has occurred between the Doctors and Bill Farley. This is the type of integrity that I look for, yet questions still remain.

Throughout all of the information we in the field have been given, and all of the accolades that are being put forth this week, there are still pieces of the puzzle that are missing. Was the "takeover" due purely to greed? Did Farley make some bad decisions that prompted the action, however inappropriate they were? As a Zrii IE I feel that a large piece of the story has been left out. Maybe there are those of you who know it..people close to Boettcher and Gonzalez or even close to the people who authored the "coup". But for most of us, we are still in the dark, I believe, as to the precipitating event. It seems strange that an entire group of people who were being treated very well and paid very well, would rise up and risk all that without there being a very strong reason to do so.

Maybe it's not necessary for most IE's to know this reason..maybe it is. I'd like to know your thoughts on the subject. Your comments on this blog would be an appreciated addition to the story.

Google's Rule Change Will Effect Relicated Sites

Flu Season Is Here..Why I Have Not Gotten Sick in a Year

It is almost a full year since I have gotten sick. No sore throat. No cold. No flu. No nothing. If I feel a little something coming on I start drinking 1/2 ounce of Zrii every hour and by the next day, gone. Zrii is clearly a very powerful immune system booster. I am surrounded by children all the time. There is always someone sniffling in my house. But it has not touched me. The only thing I have done differently in my life in the past year is to drink Zrii. Two ounces per day. More when tired or if I feel the beginnings of a cold.

Here is the real important point of this. Yes, it is nice not to catch colds. But if Zrii is that powerful for day to day immunity, what is is doing internally as a preventative for more severe illnesses? It will be many years before their are long term studies or longitudinal surveys that can determine if Zrii prevents tumors or cancer or other serious illnesses. But in the meantime...if my immune system is that much stronger in ways that I do notice isn't logical that it's that much stronger on a deeper level as well?

For me, that is the most important reason that I drink Zrii. If there are things that I can do now to prevent serious illness in the future, that is the definition of smart. They say that tumors begin forming years before they are detectable. Also your entire cellular structure replicated itself every six months. I am hopefully preventing those tumors from even beginning. I am making sure that as my cells replicate, they are reproducing healthy, rejuvenated.

Can I say 100% that Zrii will save my life and prevent me from getting cancer or heart disease or a brain tumor? Of course I can't. Can I say that I haven't gotten in sick in almost a year? Yes I can. And I know it is because of my daily dose of Zrii. So armed with that knowledge, I will continue boosting my immunity on my journey of health and wellness.

In a few weeks I am having my yearly blood work done. You can read the results and changes here on this blog. Remember, the only thing I've done differently in the past year is to drink Zrii.

This interaction, and the manner in which information is presented, depends on the varied perspectives and "building" of shared meaning among communities, as people share their stories and experiences. Businesses also refer to social media as user-generated content (UGC) or consumer-generated media (CGM)."

Social media is part of the Web 2.0 explosion and the cutting edge in New School methods for growing a network marketing business. In this post we will briefly cover a variety of tools and methods for utilizing social media to grow your MLM business.

Attraction Marketing is the Key to MLM Online Success

If you have not yet heard about attraction marketing, then you must take time to do so. The idea of attraction-based marketing has been around for awhile, but it was not until Mike Dillard synthesized all the information and created his Magnetic Sponsoring course, that the majority of people knew what it was or how to use it.

The idea behind attraction-based marketing or Magnetic Sponsoring is that you use social media to create an strong online presence. Take a good look at people's profiles prior to creating yours. They had a profile contest a few months back with a great tutorial..watch it. As you are finding your way around this site you will be beginning to understand how people present themselves in the social media world without pitching their product or biz. Better Networker is social media. It is a social networking website devoted to network marketers. In many ways it is similar to Facebook or MySpace (also social networking sites), but the audience and participants are hightly targeted.

To learn almost everything you need to know about attraction marketing and how to use it to grow your Zrii business, check out Renegade University. Renegade U. is as close as you can get to a "school" for online network marketing. You will find instructional videos on every aspect of setting up and developing your online marketing strategy and tools.

Twitter (and Social Bookmarking)

There are presently hundreds of sites on the internet that you can use to present youself to your target audience. I use a variety of social bookmarking sites that I post to every time I write a hub or a blog post. Some examples are: Digg, Propeller, Reddit, Stumble-Upon. The list is almost endless. Visit a site called Social Poster.com and you can see a long list of social bookmarketing sites and learn how to post yourself on them.

My favorite place to hang out online these days is Twitter. Twitter scares people initially because it is fast and live. I like to think of it as a big, world-wide online cocktail party/chat. When you first approach twitter it is hard to know what to do. So first (after you creat your twitter profile) visit twitter search and put in a keyword that interests you. Read what comes up and then click on the name of the person who posted(tweeted) click on "follow" under their name. Now whenever you log onto twitter you will see whatever that person has written, appear on your screen. Generally, if you follow them, they will follow you back. This is good.

When you create your Twitter Profile, make sure that you enable direct messaging and email notifications. When someone follows you, follow back and say thanks in a direct message. Soon you will log onto your page and see a flurry of different tweets and conversations going on. This is good. Join in once you feel comfortable. Don't pitch. Don't spam. Don't sell. Just be a real person and interact with the people who are tweeting. Once you get the hang of this you will see that there is a time and place to include links to your blog or website. Twitter is the fastest growing social media on the internet. It can now even interact seamlessly with Facebook if you set it up that way. Many people do a lot of business on Twitter. You should be one of them if you want to grow your network marketing business using social media. Here you can find a twitter training video which will help you get started.

OK..I'm Totally Confused!! What Do I Do Next??

Total confusion is often the reaction to all of this information. Do not worry. You are not lacking in brain cells. Using social media is very confusing initially and only gets clearer as you work your through it, step-by-step. This is where a good coach/mentor comes into play and a training system. Luckily a man named Mike Klinger saw how confused people were getting and sought to remedy the situation. He created the best social media training that I have yet to see in this industry. It is appropriated called a " University".

Renegade University is an amazingly complete online classroom. There are step-by-step video tutorials for every aspect of using social media to create your online presence and grow your network marketing company. The beauty is that you can work through the training at your own pace AND do the steps on your computer while Klinger is walking you through them in the video. It is almost like having a teacher sitting next to your computer with you.

Renegade University did not exist when I began my social media journey. I learned each step by trial and error and honestly it took months to really feel a conceptual and practical understanding of the whole thing. By using Renegade University, if you put your mind to it, you can have the basics of your social media system up and working for you in a month. After a long time filled with prosperity and growth, the economic engine has changed direction. Are you noticing a reduction in your product sales? Has your downline been shrinking rather than growing? Are you hanging on every word of the Nightly Business Report? Are you concerned?

We, in the network marketing industry, are in a unique position during this economic downturn. We have made a decision to be part of a profession that historically thrives during times of recession. You have a choice as to whether you are going to become part of the culture of FEAR, or whether you are going to be part of the solution. Here are some tips for turning Straw into Gold.

1. Do not allow FEAR to invade your life. You do not need to watch the news every day, nor read the papers, nor check your portfolio. Though it is hard to not be concerned when the hard-working family down the street loses their jobs, remember that you always have choices and that your mind is your most valuable asset.

2. Take an honest look at your current MLM Business. Are you offering a luxury product or one that people need and use on a day-to-day basis? What about the price-point? 3. Now is when people are looking for alternatives. You potentially are sitting on a viable solution to someone's problem. Approach people with a servant's heart, not a sales pitch. Let then know that you might be able to help (if you honestly can).

Of course it could be about making good investments on discounted stocks or property, but it can also be about continuing on your path without wavering or faltering. If you are already growing a business, then continue. Do not be afraid to approach others. Do not sink into the mind-set of "Why would anyone want to invest in a new business now, with times being so bad?" Do not go down that slippery slope.

5. Speaking of mind-set. You are in control of yours regardless of what friends, family and the media say or do. Take time every day to remember that. Breathe. Meditate.
